Emerging careers are those careers that are not yet common, but have been predicted to grow steadily in importance, popularity and profile over the coming years. Such predictions are generally based on demographic studies of various trends in current but ever-changing society. For example, the recent increase in white-collar crime (fraud, Internet crime) to the current recognition of the human impact upon the environment … just to name two.
By choosing to study for an emerging career now, you’ll be well placed to take advantage of the expected skills shortage when your chosen field emerges into the mainstream.
UWS is young and progressive and because we are young, we are not locked into traditional career outcomes or ideals. As such, UWS is committed to staying abreast of developments in industry and in turn providing cutting-edge courses to produce graduates with the skills and expertise for new and emerging careers that the marketplace demands.
