The Nurses Memorial Centre “Babe” Norman Scholarship

The “Babe” Norman Scholarship (opens in a new window) is a three year Scholarship offered by the Nurses Memorial Centre. This Scholarship is available to nurses and midwives enrolled in a research doctorate at an Australian university. Recipients of the “Babe” Norman Scholarship will be selected by a panel of experts in conjunction with the Nurses Memorial Centre.

The RCNA National Research and Scholarship Fund (NRSF) is designed to assist registered nurses to undertake both tertiary and/or postgraduate education, training and/or research activities.

NRSF offers the following grants:

• Annie M Sage Memorial Scholarship - $10 000
  for postgraduate research studies in nursing at an Australian University.
  
• Florence Nightingale Memorial Scholarship - $10 000
  for doctoral or postdoctoral studies in an Australian higher education institution.
  
• Joyce Wickham Memorial Grant - $5 000
  for doctoral studies in nursing at an Australian University.
  
• New South Wales Nurses Research Grant - $10 000
  for postgraduate studies in (clinical) nursing at an Australian University, and only for nurses practicing in NSW.
  
• RCNA Scholarship Grant - 2 x $5000
  for postgraduate honours studies at an Australian higher education institution.
  
• RCNA Research Grant - $10 000
  for PhD, postdoctorate or research studies at an Australian University, hospital or health care facility affiliated with a University.
