Graduation
The UWS Research Studies Committee approves graduations on the delegated
authority of Academic Senate. The committee holds a special meeting before the
graduation cut off date to consider any eligible applications.
When
the committee has approved a candidate's graduation, the Office of the Academic
Registrar will advise the UWS graduations unit, the candidate and the principal
supervisor.
The Graduation Unit will advise the candidate of the details
of the next graduation ceremony.
Research Higher Degree candidates do
not have to apply to graduate.
