Progress and Early Candidature Plan

  All continuing candidates must complete an annual progress report. First year candidates do not need to complete an annual progress report.
  
• Early Candidature Plan
  The aim of this is to identify goals that would be good for you to achieve early in the candidature. You should discuss this with your principal supervisor or supervisory panel.
• Confirmation of Candidature
  The Confirmation of Candidature is a compulsory requirement for all first year research students. Your confirmation must be completed in order for you to remain enrolled in your degree.

Identification Card

Once you are enrolled, you can call into a student central office to get your identification card. You will need this for the library and computer lab access. More information is available on how to get your student ID card.

UWS Login and Email Account

Your student email account is used to notify you of all enrolment and candidature information. Notices are not sent to private email addresses, so you should regularly check your student email. To use your student email account and access the computers in the IT labs and WebCT, you need to activate your MyUWSAccount.

Information about activating your MyUWSAccount is available at Activate your MyUWSAccount. Once your MyUWSAccount is active, you can access your student email account. The easiest way to access your email is to select the Student Email link in MyUWS. Alternatively, the direct web address is http://student.uws.edu.au.

You must use your student email account when contacting the University. This is to protect your privacy.
