The purpose of the UWS Parking and Traffic Policy is to assist in facilitating the proper and effective management of parking and traffic on all UWS campuses and to inform staff, students, visitors to, and tenants of UWS of their responsibilities when they park on a UWS campus.
In short, all vehicles parked on a UWS campus must, in accordance with the UWS Parking and Traffic Policy, display a valid UWS parking permit on the lower, driver’s side windscreen/dash. There are six types of car parking bays on UWS campuses (green, yellow, blue, red, white and disability), which can be identified by colour line markings and signage. The eligible permit types for the colour of the parking bay are as follows:
| Bay Colour | Eligible Permit Types |
|---|---|
| Green |
|
| Yellow |
|
| Blue |
|
| Red |
|
| White |

| Disability (RTA) |
