First aid services are provided by 'designated' First Aid Officers who have successfully completed a WorkCover NSW accredited first aid training course.

First Aid Kits

Wall-mounted First Aid Kits are located in convenient places throughout the University. A sticker detailing the complete list of contents for the standard kit (opens in a new window) should be located on each kit. It is the responsibility of designated First Aid Officers to regularly ensure the kit is fully stocked. Any occasion upon which First Aid Supplies are removed from a kit for use, should be accompanied by a completed Incident/Hazard Notification Form submitted to OHS.

** There is a temporary hold on supply of minor First Aid equipment whilst the bi-annual restock occurs. The contents of all First Aid Kits, on all UWS campuses will be replaced in their entirety during the period 20 February 2012 - 9 March 2012. If there is an urgent need for specific supplies, please email ohs@uws.edu.au stating the reason for urgency. **
