Postgraduate Medical Education

The UWS School of Medicine and its staff are actively involved in the development and delivery lifelong learning opportunities for medical practitioners.

There are a number of activities underway including:

• UWS Graduate Certificate in Allergic Diseases (commences Autumn 2012).
  
• School of Medicine Surgical Sciences course (Accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons). 

UWS clinical academics are also actively involved in the planning of specialist conferences, including:

• 22nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (Prof. Connie Katelaris (Chair), Prof. Brad Frankum, Dr Karuna Keat).
  
• Hypertension Sydney 2012 will be the 24th Meeting of the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) in collaboration with the 9th Congress of the Asian Pacific Society of Hypertension (APSH) and the 34th Annual Scientific meeting of the High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia (HBPRCA).
