Mrs Mary Hardie

Biography

Mary Hardie has been a registered architect for more than 25 years and has worked in architectural design as well as in design and construct companies. She has a particular interest in sustainable residential construction.

Since 2004, Mary has worked on several research projects with the Cooperative Research Centre for Construction Innovation. The projects involved various aspects of the diffusion of construction innovations and waste minimisation in construction. Currently she is working on a PhD thesis which looks into “Enabling factors for technical innovation in small and medium construction enterprises”.
