SGSM Quarter 3 2012
SGSM run specialised My Course Planning sessions and Orientation sessions for their local and International students. If you are starting an SGSM course in Quarter 3 2012, you are invited to attend these sessions on 20 June 2012. Classes start 25 June 2012.

Orientation and My Course Planning sessions
Orientation and My Course Planning sessions for SGSM students are happening on Wednesday, 20 June 2012 at the post-graduate lounge, Building EB, level 2 Parramatta campus.
There are a number of events scheduled throughout the day. Some are compulsory and all are recommended. Read the schedule below for details.

| 3.00pm | International Student Advising (compulsory)The UWS International Student Advisor (ISA) discusses your responsibilities and requirements as an international student. All international SGSM students must attend this session. |
| 4.00pm | Campus tourLearn how to get around campus and find all the important places like the Library, bookshops, International office and Student Central. |
| 4.30pm | Course briefings (My Course Planning sessions)Meet your Academic Course Advisor and get information about your course, textbooks, classes, timetables, email and more. |
| 6.00pm | Orientation eveningMeet the SGSM Client Services team - your first point of contact. See a vUWS demonstration, hear from the Library and find out about mentor programs like SGSM M&M (Mentors and Mates) and MATES (current students who want to help you have the best experience possible at UWS). |
| 7.00 - 7.30pm | Networking drinks with SGSMEnjoy some finger food and a drink with the SGSM team, academics and the SGSM M&M Mentors and MATES. |
