Cannot see my results

Why can’t I see my results?
This could be because you have an encumbrance against your student record or because you need to use an alternate path to see your results. Try viewing your results by going into MySR and clicking on 'Course & Unit Details' and then your course code alongside ‘Units for Course’.

If you are still unable to see your results it is likely you have an encumbrance on your record. Please contact the Student Central Infoline on 1300 668 370.

I used to access my results via Platform Web, but cannot access them this time. Why?
Results are now displayed through MySR. To access MySR, log in through MyUWS and click on MyStudentRecords (MySR) under MyUWS Links.

Why can’t I see my GPA or course summary information?
At the time of results release this information will be temporarily disabled.

Why can't I access the unit selection/enrolments page?
At the time of results release this area of MySR will be temporarily closed.

Why can't I access a PDF printable version of my results?

At the time of results release this function will be temporarily disabled.

If I am not happy with my results, what can I do?
Firstly, speak to your Unit Coordinator. If you are unable to resolve the matter you can apply for a Review of Grade. All Review of Grade applications are now made through eForms, which is available under the MyUWS Links menu in MyUWS. You should read the Review of Grade information before submitting your application.

How long do I have to submit a Review of Grade?
You have 10 University days after results release to submit a Review of Grade.

Why has my GPA dropped?
GPAs are calculated over the duration of your enrolment involving a specific calculation. This calculation utilises the number of units, grades achieved and unit credit points. For example, if you have done poorly in a unit carrying more than ten credit points it will have a greater impact on your GPA than a unit of only ten credit points.

How is my GPA calculated?
GPA = the sum of (credit points for the same specific unit x grade points for specific unit)/total number of credit points attempted
Please view the Graduation Policy for further GPA information.

I am experiencing difficulties accessing my results on MySR?
This is a temporary load issue. Please follow the link that appears when you click on MySR and you will be redirected to view your results in Platform Web.

I can’t see my results but can see my credit points have changed, but my GPA hasn’t. From this I think I have failed a unit, how will I know?
You need to wait until results are officially released.

Enrolment after results

I have failed one (or more) units. Can I re-enrol, how do I re-enrol?
Provided you have not failed a progression rule you will be able to re-enrol if the unit is offered in the next session. You must meet any pre-requisites or co-requisites needed for the unit.

If you are eligible to re-enrol please do so through MySR, however you should meet with your Head of Program or Academic Course Advisor to discuss your course progression and seek advice regarding your studies.

The Student Learning Unit organises and runs a variety of programs and courses to develop students' academic literacy, mathematics and study skills and can be contacted by emailing slu@uws.edu.au.

All the units I am enrolled in for the next session have been cancelled/discontinued. Why?

You have probably failed a progression rule meaning you have been placed on conditional enrolment. You will receive an email about your conditional enrolment and what that means. Your units have been discontinued because students on conditional enrolment can only enrol in 30 credit points (full time students) and 10 credit points (part time students) per session. As such you will now need to enrol again in no more than the prescribed credit points.

I have already enrolled for next session, however one of my units now says INVALID, what does that mean?
You have most likely failed a pre-requisite or co-requisite that is required to be completed before enrolment in this unit. You should seek academic advice on an alternate unit to enrol in.

Progression

What should I do if I have received a progression email?
Your progression email will state whether you are At Risk, on Conditional Enrolment or if you have been Excluded. The email also contains detailed instructions regarding the next steps to take.

You may have received more than one progression outcome email. This is because you have failed multiple progression rules. Please note the highest progression status will be applied to you. For example, if you have received a Conditional Enrolment notification and an At Risk of Exclusion notification, the Conditional Enrolment outcome will be applied. The At Risk of Exclusion notification is provided to alert you to your potential exclusion at the end of the next session.

If you still have questions please call the Student Central infoline on 1300 668 370.

Why does my progression email say I’m going to lose access to my MyUWSAccount?
Your MyUWSAccount gives you access to all UWS systems (including MyUWS, MySR, Platform Web, vUWS etc) while you’re a current UWS student. Once your enrolment is discontinued, you can only access these systems for another 60 days. You will receive an email to your MyMail account advising you of the exact date your access will cease.
