SIFE Projects, Competition and Career Opportunities

'The UWS SIFE Story'.

SIFE projects vary in size and complexity. Students are encouraged to choose a project that they are passionate about which aims to empower people in need to improve either quality of life and/or standard of living for long-term sustainability.

SIFE students consider the relevant economic, social, cultural and environmental factors to identify a group in need. They then devise their projects, develop, deliver and document their outcomes and impact.

On an annual basis, students choose which projects they wish to present at the SIFE Nationals, whereby they have the opportunity of winning the National title and possibly go on to the World Championships. In addition to the competition prospects with SIFE, students have a valuable opportunity at the Nationals to network with a variety of high level executives from large national and international corporations at one time. A rare and valuable career opportunity available only through SIFE.

All students interested in SIFE, are encouraged to read the SIFE Team Handbook. These are available online under Related Links. If you require clarification on anything in the Handbook, please contact your SIFE Faculty Advisor.
