The Schools Engagement Reference Group was first established in 2007 to provide advice and assistance in development of the Schools Plans. In 2008 the group’s Terms of Reference were revised as work progressed from development to implementation.
Terms of Reference
Responsibilities of the Schools Engagement Reference Group include:
- Providing strategic advice and guidance to assist in implementation of the Strategic Plan Building Better Relationships with Schools:2008-10;
- Contributing to the development and implementation of annual Action Plans;
- Advising on emerging issues, trends and developments affecting schools in Greater Western Sydney;
- Facilitating UWS/school sector relationships and partnerships, and promoting UWS/schools engagement; and
- Monitoring progress in implementation of the Strategic and Action Plans, and participating in review of the plans.
