The annual UWS Day is for year 10, 11 and 12 and mature age students. UWS Day is held twice a year at Campbelltown and Penrith. The dates are in June and November respectively.
Visit the University and take part in interactive workshops, and find out what it’s like to be a university student. Students can view UWS Day programs and register for workshops online. For more information see UWS Day (opens in a new window).

The Margot Hardy Gallery at Bankstown campus is used to host a series of school student art exhibitions.
An Exhibition Resource Kit has been developed to help schools mount their own art exhibitions
Astronomy nights are held regularly at the Penrith (Werrington) campus observatory. For more information, see UWS Observatory

Every year UWS participates in the Siemens Science Experience, hosting year 9 students for a three-day on-campus science experience. It aims to encourage more local students to take up careers in engineering, medicine and science.
