SMExcellence team wins VC's Excellence Award for 2009

The SMExcellence team has won Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Team Award for 2009 in the area of University Engagement. The team developed the Small Business Tool Kit for the NSW Department of State and Regional Development, now renamed Industry & Investment.

2009 Dean’s Merit List  is out

The list comprises students recognised for their outstanding academic achievement over the 2008 calendar year of study.These students achieved at least 40 Credit Points, had a grade point average (GPA) of 6.0 or greater, and were in the top 10% of the college cohort.

Excellence in Teaching, Research and Service celebrated

The College of Business held its annual Staff Excellence Awards on  Thursday 6th November 2008. Staff from across the College gathered  together to celebrate excellence in Research, Teaching and  Administration for 2008. Read more

Project on Visual Optimisation of Patient Flow wins funding

A team of CInIS researchers has won an ARC Linkage grant in the latest round.  The project title is Visual optimisation of patient flow in Hospital Emergency Departments. The team comprises Dr Anneke Fitzgerald, Prof SJ Simoff, Dr Terry Sloan, Dr Prem Samaranayake, Mr M Johnston and Ms A Larkin. Read more.

A successful Australian adaptation of the book Accounting: What The Numbers Mean has been awarded the joint winner of The Australian Awards For Excellence In Educational Publishing for 2008. Read more
