UWS Alumni Library Access

UWS Alumni GradLife Members have access to the UWS Library and a range of their facilities. The Library has set an annual $50 fee for GradLife Members. This discounted fee saves UWS Alumni GradLife Members 50% from the standard community access fee.

When using UWS Libraries, GradLife Members may:

• Borrow up to 25 items for a 14 day loan period per item*
• Have two optional renewals for any item not requested by another Library client
• Renew items, if not requested by another Library client, online via the Library Website or by phone
  
• Check the status of their loans online via the Library Website's "My Library Record" feature
• Place hold requests for any item to be held at that item's campus library for pick-up**
• Access databases from within the Library

*Please note that as the GradLife Membership Cards do no contain any electronic or bar-coded information, books must be checked out via the Library Service Desk. The self-checkout facility is unavailable to GradLife Members.

**Please note that Inter-Campus borrowing and holds are not available to Alumni.

UWS Alumni GradLife Membership Cards and Borrowing

UWS Alumni have borrowing access, after they have paid the discounted, annual $50.00 fee, upon presentation of their UWS GradLife Membership Card.

Membership to GradLife is free for all UWS Alumni. To become a member of Gradlife, please complete the membership form online now.

Library Access Payment

The discounted $50.00 annual Library fee can paid at your chosen Library or Alumni can pay online using IPay. Once in the IPay system Alumni should complete the following steps:

• Select "Library Membership" under the "Library" Section of the first page
• Add "Alumni Library Borrower" to your order
• Proceed to Purchase Order
