Florabella Guides located at Mount Riverview, in the lower Blue Mountains, need some enthusiastic young girls/women to lead the Monday afternoon Girl Guides unit. If you are a motivated person and would like to consider a leadership role/or volunteer within the Girl Guides they would love to hear from you.
Girl Guide leadership offers those who take part: fun, purpose, skills, lasting friendships and satisfaction. You may never have thought of yourself as a leader before but Guiding will give you the chance to become one. The Girl Guides Association provides training to prospective leaders.
The Florabella Guides meet every Monday afternoon in the Guide Hall at Mount Riverview. Term time 4.30 pm - 6.00 pm. Working/volunteering with 7-10 year old girls and other leaders.
If you would like further information please contact Margaret Worthington on (02) 4739 9734.
To ensure that you are eligible for volunteer opportunites such as the above, please email alumni@uws.edu.au and register as an Alumni Volunteer.
